The Collection Element retains as many client email addresses as required for an account. Core-maintained clients may have both core and locally maintained email addresses. If an email address is core maintained, it is read-only in Elements. Additional email addresses can be added as records maintained locally in Elements.
From the Net tab on the workspace, email addresses can be created, edited and deleted. An email address can also be marked as the default email for the client.

Depending on Security Profile settings, a user may only be able to maintain emails for loans in their own worklists. If at least one loan is in the users worklist, they are able to maintain all client email addresses. |
To create a new email address, with the client selected in the Client & Contacts section of the workspace, click on the Net tab. The email screen is displayed.
Enter the new email address information and click Save. Click Cancel to disregard creating the email address.

If this is the first email record for the client, it is automatically marked as the default email. The default email is listed with an asterisk (*) on the Net tab. |
To edit an email address, with the desired client email record selected, click on the Net tab in the workspace. The email screen is displayed. The client associated with the email is displayed at the top of the screen. Make any modifications to the email address and click Save. Click Cancel to disregard any changes.

To set an email as the default for the client, with the desired client email address record selected, click on the Net tab in the workspace. The email is updated to display an asterisk (*) on the Net tab.

The email flagged as Default is automatically used when generating correspondence in Elements. |

There can only be one default email for a client. Selecting a new default email removes the default flag from another email. |
To delete an email address, with the desired client email record selected, click on the Net tab in the workspace. The email address is deleted.
